24-hour cancellation notice:
A 24-hour notice is required if you need to cancel, otherwise you will be charged for the session. If you arrive past your session start time, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate clients scheduled after you.
First session:
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your first appointment to complete a health history and a client bill of rights.
Providing an accurate health history:
At the beginning of your session, I may ask questions about your general health and physical condition. I ask that you please provide information about any existing medical conditions or medications you may be taking, and update me of any changes during subsequent visits.
Scope of practice:
Massage and bodywork is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment. Clients should see a physician, chiropractor, or other qualified medical specialist for any known mental or physical conditions.
Scent-free environment:
I strive to maintain a synthetic scent-free environment. Please refrain from wearing perfume/cologne or smoking before coming to your session. I may sometimes use essential oils during a session, with the clients permission.
Therapeutic Nature of Massage:
All services that I provide are therapeutic and absolutely nonâsexual. Any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances will result in a termination of the session and the client will be responsible for payment of the entire scheduled appointment.
Senior Discount:
Does not apply to 30 minute sessions, special services, holiday specials, or advance purchase deals.
